I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be giving a reading from the new book at Orr Street Studios on Tuesday, November 10, as part of the new “Hearing Voices” season. I did this a couple of years ago and it was a great experience – engaged audience, warm atmosphere, and cool space. Mark your calendars – it would be great to see you there. The event starts at 7 p.m.
Other good news: I finally finished that damn novel by Thomas Pynchon. What a relief. I still have no idea what went on. I’ve moved on to “A Peculiar Grace” by Jeffrey Lent which is making a lot more sense. Makes me want to go and be a blacksmith in Vermont. But then, so many novels, do, don’t they?

I’m so glad that I’m not the only one who doesn’t always know what is going in current reading (though I’m sure that Pynchon is his own ball of wax).
Wish I could be there for your reading, and meet you for lunches, and crash your lovely life on occasion to enjoy the families tossed together like a happy salad… can you tell I’m feeling nostalgic?
Take care!
